Envac Optibag has developed and designed optical sorting plants since 1989. We have built and installed more than 25 plants of varying sizes in Scandinavia and in France.
Today, our systems are located in Sweden and Norway. We have been investing in additional markets since 2016, as there is interest from both North America and Asia. Optibag currently has three offices; in Mjölby, in Stockholm and in Aalborg.
Envac Optibag AB is owned by Envac AB (100%), which is part of Stena Adactum AB, a company in the Stena Sphere. Stena Sphere’s total turnover in 2015 amounted to SEK 51 billion. Profit before tax amounted to SEK 7.2 billion. The number of employees is approximately 19,000.
Envac has more than 50 years of experience in automated waste management and has 35 offices in 22 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North and South America.
Envac Optibag aims to market and develop the Optibag system into a leading sorting system, by delivering turnkey efficient sorting plants for source separating of household waste in bags.
Our success will be built on knowledge of the entire process from collection to recycling. Through close collaboration with our customers and users, we develop new and improve existing plants with our latest solutions.
